Sam Hancock serves Baylor Athletics as the Baylor Bear Foundation's Director of Resource Development, promoted to that role in October of 2023 after serving three seasons as associate director and eight total years with Baylor Athletics.

Hancock joined Baylor in August of 2016 working directly with the Fan Engagement department for three seasons. He then shifted into a role as the assistant director of ticket sales & annual giving from 2019-21, before ascending into his current role as the associate director of resource development in 2021.

In his role with the Baylor Bear Foundation, Hancock has helped the organization to record-breaking giving totals the last two seasons. He has built and cultivated relationships with existing and new BBF members that has led to significant increases in scholarship revenue and annual fund gifts. He has been instrumental in assisting the Baylor Major Gifts team in efforts to gain future gifts for the over $300 million in facilities projects that encompass the Fudge Football Development Center and the Foster Pavilion. Hancock also assists in the sales and execution of all premium seating efforts for McLane Stadium.

Hancock joined the Bears after spending a 2017-18 with the Dallas Mavericks as the Baylor College Ambassador and was a summer inside sales intern in 2018 with the San Antonio Spurs.

He graduated from Baylor with a bachelor’s degree in sports, strategy and sales in 2019. Sam and his wife, Kelsey, reside in Waco.

Nadya Rafferty

Nadya, originally from Russia, holds a degree in engineering from Parm State Technical University and furthered her education with postgraduate studies in Marketing. From a young age, Nadya pursued her love for dancing and gymnastics, eventually turning her passion into a career as a professional dancer, allowing her to travel the world.

The high-impact nature of dancing led to back and hip issues, prompting Nadya to discover the benefits of Pilates. Incorporating Pilates into her training routine not only helped alleviate her pain but also became an essential part of her fitness journey. Following her retirement from dancing, Nadya decided to open Power Pilates of Waco, where she is dedicated to helping others build strength, balance, flexibility and find relief from back pain.

Nadya has been happily married to Tommy Rafferty for 11 years and together, they are proud parents to three children: Lyllia, Connor, and Skylar.
