Services We Provide
Our experienced professional staff are committed to providing services for those in Waco and our surrounding counties.
Rural Services
Just like our residential clients, individuals who live in rural areas and have been impacted by domestic violence are able to receive all of our general services free of charge. Many of our case managers and legal advocates are able to work together and travel into the rural counties in order to best serve our rural clients.
Case Management Services
Our Rural Advocates are able to provide case management services to all of our rural clients. Case management sessions provide clients with information, resources, and assistance in achieving their goals and sustaining their independence.
Counseling Services
The Family Abuse Center provides free counseling services for all victims of domestic violence including our rural clients. Our services are available to both adults and children who have been impacted by domestic violence.
Children's Counseling Services
The Family Abuse Center provides free legal services for all victims of domestic violence. Our legal advocates are available to residential, non-residential, and rural clients who reside within the seven counties we serve.
Support Groups
The Family Abuse Center provides support groups and life skills classes for all of our clients. Support groups are facilitated by professionals and offer a place for clients to discuss different issues and topics such as domestic violence education, boundaries, self-esteem, financial planning, etc.
Legal Advocacy
The Family Abuse Center works to provide services for rural clients who are isolated by distance. These services include counseling services specifically for children who live in rural areas.
